    Today's release is too beautiful. Flawless and the mod done to grub seem to stay between updates. Still running on 2 cores without redoing sed.

    Certainly speaking from some. Android apps and cloudready is probably what's in the air. Personal, I don't need it. Crowd wants it, why not. As optional.

    Does the Beta channel have OTA updates?

    Darren - yes! Beta channel receives OTA updates, same as the Stable channel.

    Beta channel v53 running fine on my Asus 1215b. Seems a tad smoother and quicker than usual. Will update on any issues.

    From observing v53-ea rolls with stable channel for updates by default. Was that intentional or a little mess up?

    Sorry for cheap advertising. But it's been 3 days and this hasn't gotten any attention yet https://neverware.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/community/posts/220832968-Why-we-don-t-have-default-wallpapers-

    Update seems faster. My only complaint is tiny so small I cant even talk about it. All seriousness though the only thing that bothers me is :

    Mouse speed seems broken at least on my device I wish it was a tad faster not saying that neverware should force that on everyone but fix that option since it seems to not work. Also good build none the less :)

    if you switch from the stable channel to the beta channel, then back to stable, does it really... go back to stable, this is the question?

    @xKyun - I would also like to see Android apps running in CloudReady OS, along with support for :

    * Bootloader timeout needs decreasing to 3, or at the most 7 seconds

    * Secure Boot

    * Quick-Unlock-Pin

    * Smart Lock

    Should I really have to change my password to 4 letters long, (downgrading my password) so i can sign in easier/faster, leaving me more vulnerable

    @SignedAdam - yes, you will go back to Stable - but your machine will not update until a greater version is distributed through the Stable channel. Once you update on the Stable channel, you're officially back on that channel distribution.

    SignedAdam Android Apps probably gonna take a while. Arcpp isn't a public api. Or from what I learned its actual a wayland app. https://www.x.org/wiki/Events/XDC2016/Program/Arcpp_Graphics.pdf

    Secure boot comes down to shim chainloader then again has to be signed by microsoft. https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/shim

    For password I just use google 2 step. Whatevs, average person. Using 15 characters, scrambled numbers should be secure enough with 2 step as last resort.

    @xKyun - I agree with your 1st point, however if Ubuntu can have Secure boot, then so can cloudready os, everything is open source,

    As for the password, mine is more than 12 digits long, it has upper lower letters, with numbers & some signs in, entering it every time i boot the system, or do something in windows for a bit and having to come back and enter it again is not practical, chrome/chromium os were built to save time, this is not saving me time, the source code is available to the neverware team, then this should be top of the list out of everything, some users have left the project, because of this exact problem,

    I don't like beta's, but I will change channel if Smart Lock or Quick-Unlock-Pin
    is added to chrome://flags/ to make it work some how, because I cant see my self continuing with out some kind of help with the log on page, some of us still need to use windows from time to time, even windows has the ability to use something other than a password

    don't get me wrong, I am enjoying using cloudready os, I enjoy giving feedback and testing new thing, the team have done a great job with drivers, this is the best release of chromium os I have ever seen,

    I use to work on the hexxeh project and arnoldthebat, but this cloudready os, takes it to the next level, I hope the team is hearing us & I thank them for allowing us to use the free version, our feedback should be worth something though, I hope its not falling on death ears

    @Jesse Pierce - Thank you for the information

    Oh they listen, in fact they all are bunch of cuties (now give $, i said something nice)

    I see where you're coming from, and thats some drawbacks. This distro isn't for every needs. It's free, so expect nothing there. You'd be surprised how much more you'll appreciate positives.

    They working close with the community to make things happen, thats what make neverware impressive for a standalone project. Nothing wrong with critize, because it has positive aspects doesn't mean you should hold back to point out flaws.

    Microsoft is a profit oriented business, so I don't feel entitled to demand on somebody that gives away software free of charge. Request, much better term to use.

    Hi, I'm interested in the Early Access Program as well as direct email notification. Great job on the OS. Can't wait to be a part of helping make CloudReady great. I also participated in the Windows 10 Windows Insider Program as well.

    I'd love to take place in the early access program. I do software and OS testing often and can provide good feedback. CloudReady works great on my ASUS N550JK laptop.
