CloudReady and Chromebooks support the same syncing and single sign-on integrations with Office 365, Active Directory, and Azure Active Directory. These services are facilitated and maintained by Google and Microsoft, and support and guidance for these integrations can be sought from them.
Syncing your Active Directory with Google Apps will allow you to mirror your users and OUs in both directories, and even sync passwords with the right planning. This will allow students to log in with the same username and password on both CloudReady and Windows devices in your domain. It may be necessary for users to authenticate once for Google services and once for Microsoft services even after this is set up.
Setting up Single Sign-On (SSO) between these two identity providers can allow your users to login only once to have access to both services. However, SSO setup can be a complicated and technical process, and we only recommend that users who are already familiar with the technical details of Active Directory, Google Apps, and SSO technology pursue this option.
Though we cannot guide you through your individual use implementation of any integration, you may want to review our guide to set up and integrations as a place to get started with this.
