I want to have a laptop with both cloudready and ubuntu dual boot on a Lenovo ThinkPad T61.

I do not want to use Crouton since I do not need to access both OSs at the same time

I have loaded the most recent rev of Cloudready on the hard drive.

Why does a normal installation of cloudready generate so many partitions?

    Are they all significant/relevant?

Since the cloudready installation took up all the hard drive, how will ubuntu know where to load and how big to make it's partition

I suppose it's pretty obvious that I'm a 'noob', but I love the opportunity to learn how to do new things, and I appreciate the help the community provides.

    thanks!
