I was unable to boot from the USB stick on an ASUS U43F laptop (i5) but then I ran across a new utility called PBM6. It is a new boot manager released 5 days ago that can be burned to a CD. Url is www.plop.to. Using the bootable CD i can then have drivers in place to boot from the Cloudready install USB3 stick. Now i have great performance on a 500Gb / 8GB RAM machine and for $40 I can instead use a 250Gb SSD. Please give the author of this tool feedback of you try this method!
