    Smartmaker -

Thanks for trying CloudReady! And thanks for your attention to detail.

If you're loving CloudReady, please tell us at www.neverware.com/swag .

Can you give me a little more detail on your keyboard trouble? You have a default-German keyboard, wanted to keep using it to type in English-input, and had to select UK-English to use it that way?

    Hi,
My keyboard is DE(German layout). I want use English as the language for user interface. In the current GUI, if I select language as English, I am NEVER offered DE as keyboad layout. (This is not specifically cloudready issue, the regular google-chromeOS too has this behaviour). Thanks

    James,

That makes a lot more sense now. Thanks for the info.

Unfortunately, anything that's going on in Chrome OS isn't something we can quickly fix.

I'd recommend, if you haven't yet, making this request in the Google Groups Product Forums for Chromebooks.

Did you use a USB 2.0 or USB 3.0  usb stick as the installer?

No luck for me. Macbook 2012. Tried usb boot (2.0). Black screen when booting from usb. Resetting PRAM didn't help.
