I have a 2010 13" Macbook Air running MacOS Sierra 10.12.3. I manually created the USB boot drive using a 16gb USB 2.0 thumb drive according to your install directions. Unfortunately during boot up the only options that appear are the HD and a Recovery file that I created on the HD. No USB drive appears and I've waited more than an hour, multiple times. I've tried both USB ports, and still no go. Not sure what to try next. Any ideas? I've tried resetting the PVRAM or whatever using the command option p r thing. Other options?
