    Josh, jumper,

Though Cherry Trail is still a bit buggy on CloudReady in general, we did ship one fix for a similar model in v64.3 - have you updated/installed that latest version to test that yet?

    Hi Forrest,

I just tested version 64.3.3 and still no audio. dmesg still reporting:

"Audio Port: ASoC: no backend DAIs enabled for Audio Port"

    Thanks.

    Shucks.

Well, if sound support for this hardware makes it into the stable Linux kernel in the future, you can bet CloudReady will merge that stuff in. In the mean time, USB audio will probably still work if you get some speakers/headphones that connect that way.

    Hi everyone,

I just tested v66.3.16 and the issue is resolved. There are no audio errors being reported and sound finally works. I tested several web radio stations (SomaFM.com) and they all play just fine.

    Thanks!

    Hey Josh,

    So glad it's working!

Thanks very much for taking the time to update us on the improvement as well - it's super valuable for us and future users searching these forums to know that the story has a happy ending.
