I tried manual installing cloudready from an 8 GB maxell usb onto an asus r500v. Everything seems to work (it said 'WARNING: Primary GPT Header is invalid' in the beginning but happily copied everything afterwards) but after rebooting the computer directly goes to BIOS and doesn't seem to have a boot option. After restarting the laptop again with the usb and executing
$ sudo fdisk -l
it looks like the sdb (usb disk) and sda (laptop disk) have the same partotions 1 to 27, just the size on partition 16 is different. Btw, does it matter if I login on the usb boot, before installing?
Am I missing something obvious?
Thank you in andvance!
