    Cloudready always excuse we don't support Android blah blah. Now cloudready can't excuse anymore

    Unless Google allow Neverware to add and enable Play Store in Cloudready, they will have no way to support Androi apps on Cloudready. It related to legal issue, not the technical one.

    The Android kernel is not present on CloudReady's file system.

     

    Note that the Android implementation used by Chrome OS (which is not fully open sourced and not legally available to Neverware) does not include a separate kernel, and instead uses the Chrome OS kernel, since it is not a VM but a container only.
