Same problem, reinstalled, discord support had nothing to say, installed elementary OS in the meantime because I use my notebook mainly for discord chat and google searches but as soon as this problem is fixed i'll change back

It would be great to know the Model of the Laptop. You should try the 64-bit version as your CPU supports it

That might work for you for now!

We've seen some other reports of Chromium (the browser) having issues with Discord on Linux, so perhaps it will get fixed on their end eventually.

i am using 32 bit  !! flatpaks don't work in 32 bit. can't change to 32 bit for now.. Please tell cloudready developers about this

    HI Shailendra,

We have no plans to support flatpaks in 32bit CloudReady - sorry. If you device supports 64bit you should definitely reinstall to that version.

I have 64 bit installed and still get the Aw Snap errors opening discord on the browser. Tried installing the flatpak for Linux and it launched once the froze up and wouldn't launch again, even tried the android version of discord and it would not launch either. No way to use discord at all on the current version of Cloudready.

Yeah I think that laptop isn't powerful enough to have these features work. The cpu is a single core but with 2 logical cores. The ram is slow. My friend has this same laptop. He only does browsing...

    Hey all,

    Check this thread out:

Not sure why a user agent change would be needed since CloudReady uses Chrome OS UA string, but ti seems like some of the functionality for discord's webapp can be regained following the tip in that link.

Please report the issues you're having to Discord - right now we believe this is an issue on their end since it's a new problem for v70+ Chromium browsers on Linux or CloudReady.
