hm. Not sure if this is even possible? My vague impression is that there's a specific VMware graphics driver involved for Linux guest VMs. It seems possible that, just by working, it's "accelerated".

Can you provide more info about what problem you're solving?

What you want to do is add the line "-override-use-software-gl-for-tests" to /etc/chrome_dev.conf. I haven't tried it myself so I don't know if it works.

You can find a list of command line switches at Peter.sh: https://peter.sh/experiments/chromium-command-line-switches/

    Hi,

    sudo disable_verity

    sudo reboot

    sudo mount -o rw,remount /

    sudo vim /etc/chrome_dev.conf

    --override-use-software-gl-for-tests

saved, reboot but no luck, it causes black screen stuck

i want to test something and i am doing this because some websites like https://browserleaks.com/webgl can detect "Unmasked Vendor" as well "Unmasked Renderer" and i want to change the "Vmware.Inc" . But this is by far an easy task.
