Unfortunately I believe that D525 chip has Intel gma 3600 or gma 3650 graphics that aren't supported on Linux.
Sadly, your best bet with this machine may be Windows.

Hi, thank you very much. I think the graphics chip used by the processor is version 3150. This one is also incompatible? Best regards.

Hm, my mistake - gma 3150 does not have the same fundamental issue with compatibility.

Reading more carefully in the old thread, I suspect this could be an issue with video output.
    Try these steps while stuck:

    * Press f4, or fn+f4 to see if display behavior changes
    * Connect a second, external, display and see if either screen shows anything
    * Confirm that your USB works properly on some other device

I would guess that the problem is that the internal atom chipset, usually found in laptops, is connected in an atypical way to the built in display here and CloudReady doesn't map it properly.

Hello, I am trying the version of CloudReady that you provided me with the link in another publication, the version number is the following 75.1.8 and it gets stuck in the Cloudready logo. Thank you. Best regards.

    Hi,

Those pictures, especially the fact that the volume or brightness UI elements can show up on screen during this phase, suggest that the issue might be the display targeted.

    Try some of these options:

    1) Press f4 or fn+f4 to see if you can toggle into and/or out of screen mirroring mode

    2) Try attaching to an external display

Do either of those bring up a more useable ui?

Hi, I tried pressing the key f4, fn+f4 and nothing, it didn't work. I also tried other Chromium projects and they didn't work either. Could it be that my pc is totally incompatible with the Chromium code? Linux and Windows are installed. Thank you very much. Best regards.

It is possible yeah. chromium uses unique display protocol compared to other Linux so it may have a fundamental issue with the way your display works or is attached.
Sorry - I'd recommend sticking with another OS and trying future CloudReady releases as they come out.

Thank you very much for your reply. I'm going to try the new versions of CR as they come out. Please do not close this topic because if I can install I will confirm in this topic. I thank you again. Regards.
