    Hi,

We certify the Latitude 5290 (clamshell and convertible) so I would hope this machine would work similarly.

Can you confirm your USB installer works properly on any other device? Could just be an issue with the installer.

    Forrest,
Thanks for the response. Just tried USB with a HP Elitebook and had same issue. CloudReady white screen/logo opens then nothing else.

Any suggestions? Using a 16GB Lexar thumb drive. Have tried other thumb drives as wel.

I'd start by reimaging your USB stick. Go through the steps in the guide, starting from the top. When it process completes, remove the USB stick from your machine right away and don't insert it into any other computer that's on. Just remove it, and then shut down the device you want to install to and boot from it.

Any mounting, inspecting, etc of the disk, even stuff you don't do on purpose, could cause an issue with the security system of the OS.

If that doesn't work, please detail the specific method you're following to create the USB stick, as well as the specs on your HP Elitebook.
