    Hello

    I get the same error and grub command.

    I am using a Hp compaq

    8GB ram  / amd processor.

    i get the following  blackscreen

    : Minimal Bash - like line edting is supported. For the first word, TAB lists possible command completions. Anywhere else TAB lists possible device or file completions.

    it is the Hp Compaq 15 Notebook pc

    x64 based

    windows 10 home

    amd E1-2100 APU with radeon 

    1000mh 2 cores

    (old but not a dinosaur :) )

    UEFI bios mode

    bios version: insyde F.05  3 january 2014

    Iain Robinson have you tried using the Chrome Recovery tool to create the USB installer to see if that makes a difference?

    Have all of you accessed the BIOS and made sure that the USB installer is the first to install?
