Password Sync

Chrome allows you to turn specific Sync Options per device.  When you initially add an account I believe it asks if you want to sync everything, and then gives you the option to customise the settings.  On specific devices therefore, you should be able to select 'Customise Sync' and deactivate Passwords on that device.

Google have a support article here: https://support.google.com/chrome/answer/9116376?p=syncgoogleservices&visit_id=637695499285333448-4110941580&rd=1

Your Device Sync Options are here: chrome://settings/syncSetup/advanced?search=sync (copy and paste - using a link here auto adds http:// to the start which wont work)

Another (Better?) way to protect passwords from misuse on secondary devices (as the user of the device could obviously switch password sync on again...) would be to use different accounts for those devices.

    Thanks Michael,

That does not solve the problem. Any user of devices can turn ON password sync. What I suggest : only the account holder from a secure portal could designate which devices authorised to sync password.

I think what you're after probably crosses into the realms of Google Enterprise Device Management, and is unlikely that NeverWare will be in a position to add functionality like this to the home edition of CloudReady.  I have had a quick look through the options in an Enterprise Workspace Google Admin > Devices > Settings > Device Settings, and it does not offer Customised Sync policies (that I can see).  It has some policy options for wiping user data from the device after each logout, but again, this is Enterprise-level functionality.

    Thanks again Michael,

I guess, I have to go with different google accounts with different devices, as you proposed, though it needs extra manual job...import, export of bookmarks...

Another option is to use third party password manager. I have Safeincloud passord manager, but, unfortunately, it does not work with Cloudready.
