Cannot stream Netflix / Hulu on Home version

    Many thx Ilya! Assuming the patch will be automatic or will there be manual uptake users will have to initiate? Is there a target day next week or notification awareness for users? Thx again!

    We released an update today that should resolve this issue. You may have to request the update manually to get it right away by going to Clock menu -> Settings -> About CloudReady -> Check for updates.

    Ilya thx much! All of a sudden my Chromebook upon boot now just keeps flashing the bunny in a vicious cycle. Any thoughts on what I can do to troubleshoot? I've tried to boot from USB drive as well and that didn't work still flashing bunny....thx

    Disregard I finally got it to boot from USB and reinstalled. Hulu video now works as well however I'm trying to figure out why there's no sound

    Yeah the update and ur instructions were crystal clear. Quick follow-up....are there any steps/recommendations to improve streaming....noticed Hulu is a bit choppy while streaming. Is there something we can do in regards to hardware accelerations etc?

    You can try flipping hardware-accelerated video decode in chrome://flags. Running CloudReady on chromebooks isn't something we support so your mileage may vary.

    Just to update....for some reason when I type that into my browser it returns nothing. But I found a defective HDMI cable....once I replaced it started streaming without hiccups. So hardware issue for sure. Thx!
