Darren McNamara, I too am waiting for Chrome Flex and am running 96.4.36 (Home Build). I suspect that making Flex run on all the devices is a HUGE challenge. There have been parts of the Chrome OS on Chromebooks that have not part of CR

I have been booting up my device every few days and checking for updates.  I assumed that when they mentioned the update would be available "in the next few days", I assumed that meant in less than 2 weeks time, and they had all the software packages ready to go.  I am guessing that a major issue must have been discovered during the final QA testing, and that is what is causing the delay.

The update should start rolling out today.

Ilya G,I got the update. Google Assistant could not load. I have a Dell 3452. I am very HAPPY not to have to bother with the Assistant. Onward into the unknown!

Bidwell, when was the first time you got the update?  By manually starting the update, or it auto updated and asked to reboot?

I got the update notification today. I clicked on the update notice by the clock then the full notice appeared above the right menu. I click on that and started the update. This was standard CR procedure.
